Come watch the documentary about the Clamshell Alliance and the grassroots anti-nuclear movement!
Acres of Clams is the story of how a handful of remarkable activists managed to build a local struggle into a successful national movement. In the 1970s the Clamshell Alliance organized occupations of the Seabrook NH nuclear power plant site and inspired a national anti-nuke movement. Today, a tsunami of nuclear power propaganda is sweeping the globe. Nuke proponents claim that new nukes are urgently needed to avert a climate crisis, however, renewable energy is safer, much less expensive and much faster to build.
