Climate Action Plan - NHDES Listening Session

The NH Department of Environmental Services received a federal grant to update their 2009 "climate action plan." The 2009 plan is insufficient and ineffective in meeting the goals we know we need to combat the climate crisis in 2023.

We have a chance to fight for a better plan with goals and priorities that focus on climate JUSTICE. We need to clean up communities impacted by dirty fossil fuel infrastructure, transition to 100% renewable energy, and ensure that no one in our communities are left behind in this important process.

We'll be attending listening sessions with NHDES and we want you to join us. Attend a community-focused conversation:

In the meantime, let us know what YOU want to see in a climate action plan so we make sure that we advocate for the climate solutions our community wants to see. Would your town want to put solar panels on government buildings? Does your school system want electric buses but can't afford them? Are you impacted by dirty fossil fuel infrastructure you want to see transitioned into something better? Tell us your story here.
