Stop Cop City: Tell Invesco to cut ties with the Atlanta Police Department!

The Atlanta Police Foundation is building a police militarization training facility in Atlanta - and bulldozing the Weelaunee Forest to make it happen. On Tuesday, January 31st, the permits to destroy the Weelaunee Forest were approved. Organizers in Atlanta are calling on all people, wherever you are, to take action in solidarity with the movement to #StopCopCity. Learn More about Stop Cop City here.

Join us here in New Hampshire for a solidarity action! Invesco is a major donor to the Atlanta Police Foundation - the entity that is funding, and pushing forward the Cop City project. An Invesco executive also serves on the Foundation's board of trustees. So we're showing up to hold signs and bring attention to this issue on the public road just outside of Invesco's office in Bedford. We will gather near 1 Bedford Farms Drive, at the corner of Kilton and South River Road with signs, megaphones, and messages for Invesco: cut ties with the Cop City project!

Defend the Weelaunee Forest and prevent further militarization of the police! Here are some additional resources about the protests in Atlanta, and the connections between climate and policing:
